Born in St. Joseph, Missouri in 1949, Mills made her film debut in 1968 and went on to appear in a number of movies and TV shows, including The Big Doll House (1971), Dream No Evil (1970), Blood Legacy (1971), and The Student Teachers (1973). She also had guest spots on The F.B.I. (1965), Night Gallery (1969), The Mod Squad (1968), Mission: Impossible (1966), Marcus Welby, M.D. (1969), Barbary Coast (1975), and Police Story (1973). Sadly, Mills retired from acting in 1977.

Miller signed with Newcastle Jets in 2014. She made her debut for the team during a match against Western Sydney Wanderers on 19 October 2014. Newcastle finished in fifth place with a 5–5–2 record. Returning in the 2015–16 W-League season, Miller made four appearances for Newcastle and helped the team finish in sixth place with a 3–5–4 record.

2016

In December 2016, it was announced she would return to the Jets for the 2016–17 W-League season.
