American pianist who is best recognized as being the former pianist and keyboardist for the Christian alternative folk rock group Jars of Clay. He is now releasing music under the name Hollow // Hum and the band, Birds of Norway.
In the year 1994, he graduated from McQuaid Jesuit High School. He later studied music at Greenville University before entering the professional music scene.
He has worked as the social media manager for Blood:Water since the year 2016. In the year 2001, Lowell and the rest of Jars of Clay were awarded honorary graduations from Greenville College due to their demonstrated understanding of their craft.
He and his wife have three sons. Lowell is a descendant of Mayflower Pilgrims Myles Standish and John Alden.
He and Dan Haseltine were band members of Jars of Clay.
