Christopher Mazzei was born in Santa Monica, California on October 15, 1978 to Gene and Vicki Mazzei (divorced in 1994). He moved at the age of two to San Luis Obispo, California where his father started his own medical practice. His father is a cardiologist and his mother is a nurse.
Christopher graduated from Mission College Prep. in 1997. After graduating he attended the American Film Institute. There he made contact with the producer of Devious Beings (2002), Phillip Jon Haarsma. 'Devious Beings' was Christopher's directorial debut, a small budget movie,shot in 16 days. He was 21 years old during production of the film. It had a small six- theater release in October 2001 and is now out on DVD and video.
Christopher lives in San Luis Obispo and owns the Cobb Twenty8 clothing line.
