Acclaimed international Artist recognized and acknowledged in the performing arts as a performer as well as Director and Writer in the field of drama. He is best known for his starring role in the SABC1 drama Skeem Saam as Thabo Maputla, but has also found success in industrial, corporate, commercial, protest, applied, realist, and absurd theatre.
Before Fame
As a child, he recalls wanting to be a performer or biotechnologist. He attended the University of Witwatersrand where he studied for a Bachelor of Arts in the dramatic arts. His performing arts career began in 2005 during his high school days.
Trivia
He was awarded Best Poet by MSC College and Best Actor by Lord Khanyile Festival in 2007. He won Best Poet again the following year and has additional accolades including a 2010 Wits School of Arts Award.
Family Life
He was born in Limpopo and moved to Johannesburg in 2004 to stay with his parents after growing up with his grandmother, uncles and aunts.
