Born to a Jewish family, Szifron studied cinema with the theoric film Writer Angel Faretta. Szifron was the Writer and Director of Hermanos y Detectives ("Brothers and Detectives"), the follow-up series to the hugely popular Los Simuladores ("The Pretenders").
