Norwegian soccer manager and former soccer player who is best known for managing the Norway national team from 1990 to 1998, guiding them to World Cup final tournaments in 1994 and 1998. In 2007, he agreed to manage the Iraq national soccer team but was fired in 2008. In 2009, he returned to manage the Norway national team.
In 1974, he graduated from the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences.
In 2008, he starred in the television series FK Zebra.
His parents are Signe Hansen and Morten Olsen. In 1998, he married Sigrun Vedelden. They have one daughter named Kine Olsen Vedelden.
