Fernando Gil is an actor, composer, and director from Madrid, Spain. He is the son of two entrepreneurs and the second of four children. After finishing school, he enrolled in a degree in Sociology at the University Complutense of Madrid, but soon joined the university theatre group and auditioned for the RESAD (Royal Consevatory of Dramatic Art of Madrid). He made his debut in the film "Resultado Final" in 1997 and was hired by the National Theater Company for plays such as "The Visit" and "Story of a Stairway". He was cast in the TV show "Hospital Central" and the comedy "Monty Python's Flying Circus". He was awarded the 2009 "Grand Vía" for Best Actor in a Musical Comedy and the 2013 Malaga Film Festival's "Biznaga de Plata" for Best Supporting Actor. He has produced, directed, and written many short films, for which he also composed and recorded the music. He recently returned from Los Angeles, where he performed Henry VIII at The Broad Stage in Santa Monica and is now managed by a Hollywood agent.
