Former Consensus second-team All-American who played college basketball at UCLA from 2019 until 2023. During his time at UCLA, he was a two-time member of the first-team All-PAC and the 2023 PAC 12 Player of the Year. He was later selected by the Miami Heat as a first-round pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.
He was a two-sport athlete while at Camarillo Public High School. In addition to basketball, he also pitched and played first base on his high school's baseball team.
