World famous songwriter and producer from New Zealand who is known for his work with artists such as Taylor Swift, Niall Horan, Lorde, Imagine Dragons, Jonas Brothers, Shawn Mendes, and Olivia Rodrigo among many others.
He attended the Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand. He began his music career as a member of the band Goodnight Nurse.
In 2014 his grammy nominations included record of the year and song of the year for "Royals" by Lorde; ultimately the latter won the award. In addition, he has been nominated for and won a variety of APRA, ASCAP, Golden Globe and New Zealand music awards. He has worked under the Dryden Street record label.
He and his wife Gemma welcomed a daughter named Goldie in June 2021. Two of his daughters, Emmie and Lila, were featured on the Taylor Swift track "Only The Young".
