Professional starting pitcher that was drafted by the New York Mets during the first round of the 2016 Major League Draft. He was later acquired by the Cincinnati Reds via trade in March 2022. He has also pitched in the Seattle Mariners farm system.

He is a graduate of The Frederick Gunn Private School in Washington, Connecticut. During his senior season, he committed to play college baseball at Boston College.

He actually made his official major league debut pitching against the Reds on September 12, 2019 as a member of the Mariners. He posted a 2.70 ERA in four starts with Seattle during his rookie season.
