Biography/Timeline
In the first series of Channel 4 series Shameless, Tittensor shared the role of Carl Gallagher with his twin brother, Elliott. He left the show to take the part of Daz Eden in Emmerdale, first appearing in the role on 9 October 2003. Elliott continued playing Carl. Also in early 2003, Luke and Elliott had a brief appearance in Brookside as Terry Gibson's twin sons.
On 23 March 2009, Tittensor pleaded guilty to a charge of grievous bodily harm against an unnamed 16-year-old in Rochdale on 15 February 2008 that left the victim with a fractured jaw. His Emmerdale contract was terminated in April 2009 due to his conviction, with his last appearance in the show occurring the same month. On 29 April 2009, Tittensor received a 9-month suspended jail sentence for the assault. He was also ordered to complete 200 hours' unpaid work and pay £1,000 compensation to the victim.
Tittensor appeared in Waterloo Road on 8 September 2010 as gay pupil Connor appearing in episodes 3 and 4 of the sixth series.
In 2011, Tittensor posted on Twitter that he is starring in a film/TV show called 'The Returned' but has not been released.
