Olympic sprinter who primarily competes in the women's 400 m, 4×100m relay, and 4×400m mixed events. She has also competed at the World Athletics Championships, Ibero-American Championships, World Relay Championships, and the World Military Games. She has also served as a corporal in the Dominican Air Force.
As a teenager, she competed in the Dominican Republic Youth Games. While at Alirio Paulino High School, she also played volleyball and handball.
After winning a silver medal in the women's 400m during the 2020 Olympics, she became the first woman in Dominican Republic history to win a medal in an individual event. She has accumulated over 120,000 followers on Instagram as a result of her Olympic fame.
