In 2008, Malick starred in the Fine Brothers Sketch "Sarah Palin Family Meeting" as Sarah Palin. Written and directed by Benny & Rafi Fine, with over 13 million subscribers, the Sketch was a viral hit. Malick's performance was named as the second best parody of Sarah Palin after Tina Fey by The Huffington Post and The Ex Comedy. Other notable parodies included Sara Benincasa, Liz Cackowski, and Gina Gershon. The Sketch parodied a behind the scenes look at how Governor Palin broke the news to her husband and kids about being Senator John McCain's running mate for the 2008 election. The supporting cast featured Dave Nivison, Shane Dawson, Candice Cooper, Morgan Mitchell, and Lia Marie Johnson.
