Co-Tewaaraton Trophy recipient with his brother Lyle Thompson. He became one of the most prolific goal scorers in NCAA history, finishing as UAlbany's all-time points leader (293) and goals leader (189). He was drafted in the third round, 20th overall, by the Rochester Rattlers in the Major League Lacrosse Draft .
