He made his film debut in Howard Hawks' Rio Lobo (1970) and has since appeared in many films, including 48 Hrs. (1982), Prince of Darkness (1987), They Live (1988), Dreamscape (1984), Heartbreak Ridge (1986), Alien Nation (1988), Seabiscuit (2003) and Alien Apocalypse (2005). He also had a recurring role in the TV series Deadwood (2004) and has done guest spots on many other shows. In addition to his film and TV credits, Jason has acted in over 150 plays and hundreds of TV commercials. He is also an accomplished baritone vocalist, having sung in musical stage productions such as "The Music Man" and "Threepenny Opera". He has been married to his wife Eileen for 33 years and enjoys making furniture with found, recycled wood in his spare time.
