Sayed Badreya is an Egyptian-born actor, producer, and miscellaneous crew member who has achieved his childhood dream of stardom in Hollywood. Growing up in poverty in Port Said, Egypt, Sayed was inspired by the movies he watched in the theater to pursue a career in the film industry. After attending New York University film school and moving to Hollywood, Sayed worked as an assistant to actor/director Anthony Perkins and director James Cameron. He then created his own production company, Zoom In Focus, and produced and starred in several films, including American East, Iron Man, You Don't Mess with the Zohan, El traspatio, Movie 43, The Three Stooges, The Dictator, Just Like a Woman, Uncharted 3, Cargo, and The Space Between. He has also worked as an actor, Arabic dialect coach, and Islamic technical advisor on Path to 9/11. His efforts to bring attention to Arab-Americans in the motion picture industry have been widely recognized.
