Swedish singer and actress best known for her roles in Pelle Svanslös och den stora sKattjakten, Forelsket i København and Verrückt und zugenäht.
At the age of 18-year-old, she won a talent show, which resulted in her being hired as a singer by Arne Domnérus.
In July 1964 she became the first Swede to have a hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart with the song "Sole Sole Sole" that peaked at No. 58. In 2023, she was a guest celebrity judge in the episode MARATHON Talent Hunt of the Swedish reality television series Drag Race Sverige.
She was the youngest child of Sigrid and Albert Malmkvist. She has been married to Fredrik Ohlsson since 1971. They have one child. She was previously married to Lasse Mårtenson.
She starred alongside Ove Sprogoe in the movie Forelsket i København.
