Thom Gossom Jr. is an American actor, writer, and communications professional born in 1952 in Birmingham, Alabama. He is the first black athlete in the Southeastern Conference to walk on, earn a full scholarship and graduate. Gossom has had a successful career in film, television, and theatre, and is the owner and President of Best Gurl Inc. He has written a memoir, "Walk-On: My Reluctant Journey To Integration at Auburn University", and his newest work, "A Slice of Life", is the first of a three-part collection of "life stories".
