As a Swedish badminton Prodigy, he attended Uppsala University in Sweden where he got his B.A. Spent 2 years in Paris covering European stocks for Atlantic Finance. Then earned M.B.A at Columbia University. Joined Bear Stearns in 1988, was colleague of famed investment banker Ace Greenberg. In 1998, Thomas set up a hedge fund with its headquarters in New York. The company's Business focus on global risk arbitrage, equity special situations and credit opportunities.
