He is best known for creating the critically acclaimed television series "Better Off Ted" and "Andy Richter Controls the Universe", for which he was nominated for a writing Emmy. He has also written for "My Name is Earl", "Life on a Stick", "Trouble with Normal" and "Mad About You". Fresco received his Bachelors degree in film and political science from Hampshire College and worked in television commercials as a production assistant and prop master before breaking into television writing in 1989 with "Alf".
