About
Pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for one year before he developed problems with his pitching mechanics that led to a breakdown in his ability to throw. He was downgraded to a minor league team but never fully rebounded. He made his professional debut in June of 1957 with the Cardinals but had been a rookie sensation since the age of 18.
