About
Cantopop lyricist, actor, fashion columnist, consultant, designer, and former Commercial Radio Hong Kong DJ best known for the countless songs he has written for stars such as Eason Chan, Fiona Sit, Hins Cheung, and many more. He has appeared in films including The Lion Roars, I Love Hong Kong, 12 Golden Ducks, and Sons of the Neon Night. He also hosted Hong Kong's version of the television series 1 vs. 100.
As a child, he always found words to be very fascinating, but did not initially realize that he had any particular skill for arranging them together. Some of his earliest work dates back to the mid-1980's, when he worked as a lyricist on songs such as "Sincere" by Sally Yeh, "Tales of Innocence" by Aaron Kwok, and "Can't Let You Go" by Sammi Cheng.
In February of 2012, he made pop history by executing a sequence of six completely sold-out concerts at the Hong Kong Coliseum. He held the music and fashion extravaganza as a celebration of his (then) nearly 20-year career. The event included performances of his own songs by more than 40 guest stars including Amanda Lee and Cass Phang.
He was born and raised in Hong Kong, China.
He has also written songs for Joey Yung, Hacken Lee, Kay Tse, and Miriam Yeung.
