Professional artistic gymnast that primarily competes in the women's balance beam and floor exercise events. Since joining the Chinese women's national team as a teenager in the year 2021, she has represented her country in the Chinese Championships and the World Championships. At just 17 years old, she won gold at the 2023 Chinese Championships.
She initially began training for gymnastics at the young age of three. A few years later, she began competing in the junior nationals.
As a teenager, she won silver in the women's balance beam event at the 2023 World Championships in Antwerp, Belgium. In the process of doing so, she finished just 0.100 points behind Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles, which was her slimmest margin of victory in almost a decade.
